Who We Are

Iridescent Colors is a Black, queer, woman-led multidisciplinary creative house operating across Los Angeles and New York.

We are agency, atelier, talent agency, production company, and conservatory — five disciplines under one roof, in service of artists the industry has long overlooked. Our founding premise is simple: trans creatives deserve the same ecosystem of representation, training, and capital that has underwritten every other generation of stars.

We were founded as Iridescent Colors, LLC, a parent company operating five trade-name divisions: Iridescent Consulting, Iridescent PR, Iridescent Talent, Iridescent Studios, and the Iridescent Conservatory. A separate philanthropic arm — the Iridescent Futures Foundation — directs profit and pro-bono labor back to the community that powers the work.

02 — Vision
Our Vision

To uplift trans artists and build bridges for trans women of color in the entertainment space — through education, art, and community.

i. Education

The Iridescent Conservatory trains actors, writers, directors, and producers in technique grounded in Black and queer performance lineages — for free or sliding scale.

ii. Art

Iridescent Studios finances and produces films, series, and editorial work led by trans creatives — beginning with Still Water, Soft Bones by Sunshine Shabaz.

iii. Community

The Foundation funds housing stability, healthcare access, and emergency grants for trans women of color working in or aspiring to enter the industry.

03 — Values

Four standards we refuse to compromise.

i
Trans-led, always
Decisions about trans artistry are made by trans people. Every department is led or co-led by a member of the community we serve.
ii
Education before exposure
We believe lasting careers are built on craft. The Conservatory is the long arc of our work — exposure follows training, never the other way around.
iii
Bridges, not gates
We use our access — agents, casting directors, brand partners, festival programmers — to widen the door for trans women of color, and we share that access publicly.
iv
Sustainable, on every set
Productions follow Albert sustainability standards: low-emission travel, zero-waste catering, gender-affirming wardrobe practices, and inclusion riders enforceable by contract.

See what we are building first.
